Our Mission
Founded in 2018 by conservation biologist Sarah Mitchell, Ethical Expeditions was born from a passion for adventure travel and a deep commitment to environmental responsibility. After witnessing firsthand the impact of traditional tourism on fragile ecosystems during her research expeditions, Sarah envisioned a different approach to exploration.
Our company specializes in small-group adventure tours that prioritize sustainability, wildlife conservation, and community empowerment. We partner exclusively with local guides, eco-certified accommodations, and conservation organizations to ensure every journey creates positive impact.
From tracking endangered species in Costa Rica's cloud forests to supporting reforestation projects in Madagascar, our expeditions combine thrilling adventures with meaningful conservation work. We limit group sizes to 8 participants maximum, ensuring minimal environmental impact while providing intimate, transformative experiences.
Our team includes certified naturalists, conservation experts, and cultural liaisons who bring decades of field experience to every expedition. We've proudly contributed over $500,000 to local conservation projects and helped establish three community-managed wildlife reserves through our partnership programs.
